How to Install WordPress using Softaculous ?

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

Access your cPanel via https://yourdomain.com:2083 and log in using the credentials provided by TZSMM Host.

Step 2: Open Softaculous

Scroll to the Software section in cPanel and click Softaculous Apps Installer. Alternatively, you can directly search for WordPress in the search bar.

Step 3: Select WordPress

From the Softaculous dashboard, click on the WordPress icon. You’ll see an overview of WordPress, its features, and installation options.

Step 4: Click Install

Click the Install Now button. You will be prompted to configure basic settings for your WordPress website.

Step 5: Configure WordPress Settings

• Choose Protocol: Select http:// or https:// (if SSL is installed).
• Domain: Choose the domain where you want to install WordPress.
• Directory: Leave blank to install in root, or enter a folder name to install in a subdirectory.
• Site Name & Description: Enter your website’s title and tagline.
• Admin Username & Password: Set secure login credentials for WordPress.
• Admin Email: Provide a valid email for notifications.

Step 6: Advanced Options (Optional)

You can configure database name, automatic backups, and update preferences. If unsure, leave default settings and Softaculous will handle it.

Step 7: Install WordPress

Click Install to begin the installation. Softaculous will set up the database, configure files, and complete the installation automatically.

Step 8: Log in and Start Building

Visit the WordPress login page and log in with the credentials you set. Start building your website by choosing a theme, installing plugins, and adding content.
